In order to better regulate the activities practiced within its boundaries, the Port-Daniel Wildlife Reserve contracted Activa Environnement to prepare an integrated management plan. The said plan aimed to define and characterize sites of interest (sensitive landscapes, salmon pools, noteworthy plant habitats, etc.) and to propose management concepts allowing various uses of the reserve to co-exist in harmony, notably forestry, hunting, fishing, hiking and quad riding.
