OUR STORY
ACTIVA Environnement began its operations in the Gaspé Peninsula town of New Richmond in 2001. The expertise offered by the company was initially limited to biology and forestry. In the years that followed, the company quickly expanded its service offering as it hired complementary professionals, thereby laying the foundation for what would become the multidisciplinary team Activa boasts today.
In 2007, the firm undertakes a geographic expansion with the opening of a first branch office in Rimouski. The following year, ACTIVA acquires agronomy firm JMP Consultants and rapidly becomes one of the top environmental consulting firms in eastern Quebec.
Between 2008 and 2013, the company continues to diversify its areas of expertise and the activity sectors in which it operates. In doing so, it becomes a leading player in the province’s energy sector. It is also during this period that the firm completes its first mandates outside of Quebec.
Between 2014 and 2016, the company expands its activities to better cover the entire province with the opening of two new offices: one in Montréal and the other in Québec City.
ACTIVA currently employs a staff of nearly thirty experts working out of four offices. Resolutely future-oriented, our firm strives to strengthen its position as one of Quebec’s leading environmental consulting firms.
