In its efforts to obtain the required environmental authorizations to operate a limestone quarry in the vicinity of Murdochville, Ressources Minérales Pélican Inc. contracted Activa Environnement to perform a study on the project’s environmental repercussions. This study notably consisted of identifying the impacts that quarry activities could have on the physical and biological components of the environment. The study covered the preparation, operation and site reclamation phases.
