Activa Environnement is proud to announce the hiring of Ms. Marianne Blondin as technical director of environmental authorizations and permitting at the company’s office in Montréal. This is a newly created position to meet the growing demand in this activity sector.

With a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in environmental science from Université de Sherbrooke, Ms. Blondin has over 10 years of experience in the environmental sphere. She has worked for a number of organizations including Ville de Vaudreuil-Dorion, Ville de Victoriaville and Environment Canada.

Ms. Blondin boasts vast expertise in environmental management including such aspects as regulatory analysis, permitting, inspections and reporting, and advisory services for a range of issues, notably municipal environmental policy, shoreline work, landslides, contaminated soils, residual waste management, climate change, etc.

As technical director of environmental authorizations and permitting, she will oversee ongoing staff training and the quality of deliverables, in addition to contributing to the overall technical improvement of the array of services under her helm.
