Activa Environnement is proud to announce two key nominations for management positions, namely Christine Lamoureux as Project Director of the Industry and Commerce division, as well as Simon Boudreault as Technical Lead for site characterization and environmental action plan services.

“The company as been undergoing strong, sustained growth for several years, which has led to the need for a reshuffle to serve more and more clients while at the same time maintaining high quality standards,” explains Activa Environnement GM Jean-François Hudon.

Christine Lamoureux: Collaborative leadership

Christine Lamoureux boasts some 15 years of experience in the environmental sector. Before joining Activa Environnement as project manager in 2008, she had held various positions in knowledge transfer and environmental protection organizations, including Université de Montréal, the Gaspésie-Îles-de-la-Madeleine Regional Environment Council and the Baie-des-Chaleurs ZIP Committee. Over the years, Ms. Lamoureux has played a determining role in the permitting process for numerous energy, industrial and commercial projects with a variety of clients such as Innergex, Béton Provincial, Junex, Unipêche M.D.M., and SEPAQ, to name a few. Her leadership, professionalism and rigour have greatly contributed to the company’s success and vitality. As Project Director for the Industry and Commerce division, Christine will oversee all operations in this sector. Amongst other responsibilities, she will be called upon to further bolster the company’s presence at the provincial level.

Simon Boudreault: A reference in his field

Simon Boudreault has over 12 years of experience in the environmental field. Prior to joining Activa Environnement’s team in 2013, he had worked for various organizations and companies, including the Corporation du bassin de la Jacques-Cartier, the Association pour la protection de l’environnement du lac Saint-Charles and LVM (Englobe). Mr. Boudreault has a strong background in soil, water and natural site characterization as well as in the development of environmental action plans. He has numerous achievements to his credit in various industries and fields of activity (road infrastructure, industrial sites, wind farms, oil wells, quarries, etc.) for a wide array of clients such as the Quebec Ministry of the Environment, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Hydro-Québec, McInnis Cement, Bombardier Recreational Products, Entreprises Claveau and Marmen. His expertise, versatility and involvement have quickly earned him a reputation as a reference in his field.  As Technical Lead for site characterizations and environmental action plans, Mr. Boudreault will oversee the quality of deliverables in addition to helping to bring technical improvements to the service group under his helm.
