Activa Environnement is pleased to announce the arrival of Ms. Sylvie Côté to the team working out of the company’s Montréal office. With a bachelor’s degree in geography from Université de Montréal and a master’s degree in environmental science from Université de Sherbrooke, Ms. Côté has over 30 years of experience in the environmental sphere. In recent years, she has held roles in which she has directed and coordinated projects of various types with major companies such as FNX-INNOV, GBI, Stantec and Dessau.

Over the years, both within Quebec and beyond, she has participated in the completion of over 200 environmental studies and hundreds of authorization requests in urban, agricultural and forested environments and for a wide array of projects (roads, bridges, transmission lines, wind farms, dams, dredging, shoreline stabilization, landfill sites, etc.). She has also coordinated and participated in a dozen or so BAPE public consultations and mediations for different projects.

Throughout her career, she has played an important coordinating role in project development and/or permitting for a large number of major clients. Additionally, her career path has enabled her to develop a solid network of contacts within the different ministries and organizations concerned.

As Technical Director, Ms. Côté will bring to the team her vast experience and extensive knowledge of the environmental field.
